I’m researching how to take care of a pet micro pig and it says I need to register to keep livestock but I don’t know where I can go to register.

The white pages of your phone book has the city government section in it. Look for the ‘city clerk’, this is the office that has all the local ordinances and would have the information you need.

I really am not sure you can keep livestock inside city limits – mostly due to noise and sanitation issues–most cities ban chickens, goats, pigs, etc. for that reason. The suburbs may be a little more lenient, but any complaint from the neighbors and your pet would have to be removed from the premises.
